The 2023 Tennessee high school girls soccer season begins next week. Here’s a look at the top returning players from the Memphis area. 

Payton Biggs, Tipton-Rosemark, Fr.: Biggs netted 26 goals with five assists last season as an eighth grader for the Rebels. 

McKenzie Campbell, Collierville, Sr.: Campbell returns for her senior year on defense after missing the Dragons’ postseason run due to injuries as a junior. 

Paige Corzine, Hutchison, Sr.: Corzine returns for her senior season with the Sting and plays midfielder. 

Rilee Ervin, Millington, Sr.: Ervin returns to the Trojans for her senior season and will play in midfield.

Leah Freeman, Houston, Sr.: Freeman returns for her senior season at forward for the Mustangs. She was a second team All-metro selection. 

Caroline Gibert, Hutchison, Sr.: Gibert was a Commercial Appeal All-Metro second team selection last, playing defender for the Sting. 

Ali Howard, Briarcrest, Jr.: Howard scored 19 goals and had seven assists playing both midfielder and forward for the Saints. 

McKlain Jones, Houston, Jr.: Jones returns for her junior year to the Mustangs after helping them reach the Class AAA state title game. She was named to the Commercial Appeal All-Metro first team as a defender. 

Abby Lankford, Briarcrest, Sr.: Lankford helped the Saints finish runner-up in the Division II-AA state championship match last season. She had seven shutouts and 1.06 goals against average. 

Isabella Mendietta, Arlington, Sr.: Mendietta, a John Brown University commit, returns to the Tigers for her senior season. She was named to the Class AAA all-state team and first team All-Metro selection. 

Hayden Moneymaker, Northpoint, So.: Moneymaker netted 28 goals with 10 assists for the Trojans last season. 

Ella Rump, St. Agnes, Sr.: Rump returns for her senior season as the leading scorer for St. Agnes a year ago. 

Bronwynn Saatkamp, St. Mary’s, Sr.: Saatkamp had 12 goals and seven assists as a junior with the Turkey’s. 

Ellett Smith, Houston, Sr.: Smith returns for her junior season and was a first team All-Metro selection and was named to the Class AAA all-state team. 

Presley Williams, Collierville, Junior: Williams returns for her junior year with the Dragons.
