Here are the final Memphis-area baseball rankings of the season.

1. Northpoint (34-6-1): Led by Connor McKnatt, Hudson Brown, the Trojans defeated Goodpasture 6-5 to win their first state title since 2009. Last ranking: No. 5. 

2. Lewisburg (27-8): Cayden Barker got the win on the mound as the Patriots won Game 1 of the Mississippi High School Activities Association 6A state championship game over Gulfport. Game 2 will be Thursday. Last ranking: No. 3. 

3. Collierville (41-10): The Dragons had a school-record 41 wins and reached the TSSAA baseball semifinals, losing 4-1 to Hardin Valley. Last ranking: No. 6. 

4. Christian Brothers (26-8-1): The Purple Wave reached the Division II-AA quarterfinals, but lost in consecutive games to Lipscomb Academy. Last ranking: No. 1. 

5. Arlington (29-11-1): The Tigers lost to Clarksville in the sectional round and were eliminated one round before the state tournament. Last ranking: No. 2. 

6. Evangelical Christian(19-13): The Eagles lost to Silverdale in the Division II-A quarterfinals and finish the season in the top-five area rankings. Last ranking: No. 4. 

7. Tipton-Rosemark (24-13): The Rebels’ season ended in the Division II-A quarterfinals after losing two games to Goodpasture. Last ranking: No. 7. 

8. DeSoto Central (22-14): The Jaguars finish in the area top-10 rankings after its season ended in the MHSAA quarterfinals. Last ranking: No. 8. 

9. Briarcrest (18-16-1): Matthew Dallas dominated in the first game, but the Saints’ season ended in the best-of-three series to Christ Presbyterian Academy in the Division II-AA quarterfinals. Last ranking:No. 9. 

10. Houston (30-9): The Mustangs failed to reach the state tournament this past season after reaching the Class 4A title game in 2022. They finish this year at the 10th ranked team in the area. Last ranking: No. 10.
