As the spring season begins in Memphis area, here’s a look at the top boys soccer players returning for the 2023 season. 

Hays Adams, Houston, Jr.: Adams was a Commercial Appeal All-Metro first-team selection last season, helping the Mustangs get to the state tournament. 

Eli Bailey, Northpoint, Jr.: Bailey had 13 goals and 16 assists as a sophomore last season with the Trojans. 

Dawson Davis, Collierville, Sr.: Davis scored 12 goals and had three assists as a forward for the Dragons last year. 

Joseph Dawson, Bartlett, Sr.: Dawson scored 12 goals for the Panthers as a junior last season. 

Charlie Gallop, MUS, Sr.: Gallop had six goals and four assists during his junior season with the Owls. 

Diego Guerra, St. George’s, Sr.: Guerro was a Commercial Appeal All-Metro second-team nomination last year, scoring 27 goals and getting six assists. 

Gabe Johnson, Arlington, Sr.: Johnson was the leading goal scorer with seven for the Tigers last season. 

Luke Johnson, Collierville, Sr.: Johnson scored 15 goals and had five assists for the Dragons last season. 

Patrick Murin, Collierville, Sr.: Murin had 11 shutouts in goal last season for Collierville. 

Patrick Murphy, Christian Brothers, Sr.: Murphy scored two goals and had 10 assists for Christian Brothers last season, helping them to the state tournament.

Andy Ramos, Arlington, Sr.: Ramos returns to Arlington this season and has played with Nashville FC’s youth program. 

Jackson Saatkamp, Christian Brothers, Jr.: Saatkamp scored six goals and had four assists as a sophomore last season for the Purple Wave. 

Kyle Sneed, MUS, So.: Sneed had 10 goals and four assists as a freshman last year with the Owls. He was also named to the all-region team. 

Max Steele, Bartlett, So.: As a freshman defender, Steele helped the Bartlett defense to nine shutouts last season. 

Matty Wackerfuss, Christian Brothers, Sr.: Wackerfuss scored six goals and had five assists last season for the Purple Wave.
