Houston Swim Team Dominates at Shelby County Meet, Sets Records

The Houston Swim Team came out on top at the Shelby County Meet, taking first place in the and girls' and second place in the boys' but first place in the combined category. The highlight of the meet was the Rottink twins, Eva and Roos, who set new county records in the 4x100 free relay and the 200 medley relay, along with Sam Riggen, Taylor Cole, and Ella Smith.

The boys relay team of Matthew Monistere, Noah Delk, Jose Garcia, and Alex Guild also set two Houston records in the 200 meter medley and the 4x100 free relay.

At State, the team is expected to continue their winning streak and break more school records. The entire Houston Swim Team contributed to the first-place win and made it a truly collaborative effort.

Swimming is a unique competitive platform that requires discipline, perseverance, and strength. The Houston Swim Team's success at the Shelby County Meet is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the athletes, coaches, and sponsors.
